Snow Annie's Ornie

Snow Annie Ornies great for pegs, gift toppers, tree ornaments or bowl fillers.  After the week I have had, microwave catching on fire and then today our washing machine leaking,  working on cute ornies help to but a smile on my face.   What I wouldn't go do have my own studio and just consume myself with crafts all day.   Going to start working on one of my own designs with pumpkins, gingerbread and candy corn.  I hope it comes out nice :)

Neck Pillows

Getting ready for the long trip to Jersey :)  making neck pillows for the kids to help them sleep better, hopefully.  The flower one is Marie's and other one is Nikki's   now off to make Joey and Mark one although Mark probably will think it's silly.  They will fun to make.  Still working on Nikk's sun dress and trying to figure out the band.

Special Project for July

I'm working on something special for July.  I'm hoping I can pull it off we'll see :)

Finally opened my new sewing machine my Dad and Dot bought for me.  I made Dot a tablecloth.  I never made one before.  It seemed so easy but yet so hard I have a fear for working with large material items.  All I had to do was sew around the edges.  LOL

I think it has to do with something being so big that I can't see the whole thing at once.  It reminded me how I have to have faith in the bigger picture of life.  Just because I can't see it all at once God has a plan :)

Graduation Sock Bouquets

So for Niquole's graduation I made some sock bouquets for her to had out on the last day of school to her close friends.  I decided to use one pair of different socks for each girl added some silks and wrapped it in grad cello.  Nikki said they loved them. :)

Thinking of up north :)  one of my own creations.  If I don't get time to craft more soon I think I might explode.  Mark can't move out soon enough to go to college ... ;) 

Baby Boy Sock and Wash Cloth Arrangement

Made this for a friends new baby boy.  It just reminds me how much I miss my gift basket shop  :)   hmmmm  got me thinking now  ;)

Baby Shower

Today I went to a baby shower for Pregnancy Resources and learned of a great resource  for ladies who become pregnant and don't have to face it alone.  Pregnancy Resources is a place for hope, healing and peace.  I donated some burp cloths that I made and have decided to continue to donate them throughout the year.

Mock Fashion Show Outfits

The young ladies seemed to have a fun time modeling my fashions for the show... thanks girls
 We had the bathing suit (everything you need to bath on the jacket), seersucker (sundress with lollipops), mini skirt (pic of mini on it), capri pants and crop top, evening dress and ball gown.   Great job ladies!

Sock Bouquet

Sock bouquet that I gave away to the ladies that entered in our mock fashion show at Relay.

Made a skirt for Marie but she won't wear it she says it has too many butterflies.  Well that's until she was told that Daddie picked out the material :)   I think I need to buy some other material to make more.  It was fun for my beginner sewing experience.

Pot Holders

Using up some of my fun prints and practicing my sewing :) making some pot holders.  Sold some at our missions craft fair.
